High Hill Restaurant

This project is conceived as an integral extension of nature, engaging in a harmonious dialogue with the forest and mountain landscape. The building's panoramic glass and cantilevered sections blur the boundaries between interior and exterior spaces. To preserve regional heritage, a foundation of Thuringian sandstone and a facade of local larch wood were used. For environmental sustainability, systems such as a terraced landscape, rainwater harvesting on the roof, geothermal energy, and solar panels are implemented with minimal intervention. In this unique setting, the culture of dining is combined with the harmony of the Thuringian Mountains, promising an unforgettable experience for locals and tourists alike.
